Jialin Birthday in April

We gave her a surprise dinner at a teochew restaurant. The food was great, we tried cold crab... not that bad.. hehe... then we went on for ktv session! And guess what.... I accidentally dropped the birthday cake on the floor which Steph bought and the nicely written words "Happy Birthday Da Xiong" appeared on the box instead, lucky the cake wasn't that badly damaged. haha... after all the sabo to make Jialin sing, dance and eat the sabo cake (Durian) bought by Peiting! Jialin has a phobia of durians... we made her eat the whole slice of yummy durian cake to overcome her fear of durians!!! Hopefully now durians is her favourite food! heheeh

Mother's Day
Just another normal day at home.... As my father is still not in stable condition, we are not able to go out for japanese feasting session. So we decided to stay home. I order Sakae Sushi and they delivered it bad. The total damage was $50+ and the meal was fulfilling.... I give it 4 stars for delivery sushi.. hehe

Winter trip to Hong Kong

Ok.. ok... I know... I always like Hong Kong....and this is the fourth time I am there. But... difference is... this trip is purely for sightseeing! No shopping, or, more like less shopping. Heh...

This time, I visited more parts of HK Island, Yuen Long, went up to the PEAK, Ocean Park too! It's really quite an experience. So, my advice, if you guys wanna go to HK on sightsee, do it in winter season coz the weather is super cooling... no sweat! heh...

Ok, enjoy photos (beware, it's not taken in order of days)

Here comes the photos long awaited for....

Oooopss.....

Have not been updating I know.... I'm sorry to have done this... hahaha... no time mah...

Anywayz, a few things I have been doing for the past one month. Been busy saving Kiki from SPCA and trying to find her a new owner, been busy with registering for a new course. Friends, for your information, I will be starting afresh a new degree (Finance and Marketing) with Curtin University. Hopefully this will be much easier with assignments and supplementary papers. I have also been hooked onto anime Bleach.... anyone watched it?

1) Poor Kiki
Father is sick, Kiki furry, have no choice but to find her a new owner. Mother thinks that SPCA is the most appropriate place to dump her there... this is cruel! I took half a day off to bring her home, bathed her and comfort poor Kiki. Everyone who seen Kiki says she's so cute and so lovable..... Why she just need to end up like this?

2) Bleach

Dudes, I tell you, if you have missed this anime, please please please support it! It's fantastic... within 2 weeks, I have completed 149 episodes and still waiting for more to come... heheheh

Ichigo! Go go go!!!

3) Beer - burpsss

After a movie with Jialin, Steph and Alex one day, we went to Ice Cold Beer. We ordered this. Wahaha.... one each, but I only drank half the cup of hoegarden... wahahaha.... Steph and Alex ordered shots to drink too. Each of them had a cup... heh

4) Steph Birthday Dinner

Although we didn't celebrate Steph's birthday on the actual day, we celebrated it 2 days after her birthday, after Jialin came back from her HK trip. We went to 谭家翅 for dinner. Had a few dishes... burp... wanna see pictures? Can go to Steph's or Jialin's blog to see la... I lazy to post... whahahaha

Feasting and more feastings

Week of feasting again! This week, I gained some weight back again because I starting exercising and feasting season is back.

1) Himawari Japanese Restaurant
Steph, Jialin, Peiting and I went to the branch at Neil Road for dinner. This is the second time we are having ala carte buffet from Himawari together. This time, we managed to finish 2 plates of mixed sashimi! The sashimi here so far is the freshest I've ever eaten! I wanna go back again!!!!!!!!!!!! SSSSAAAASSSSHHHHIIIIMMMIIII..... あいしてる!!! We concentrated on our food so much, we forgot to take photos.. hehe

2) Manhatten Fish Market
I met up with a few colleagues to dine at Manhatten Fish market on Thursay. Our initial plan was actually to sing ktv, but one of my colleagues fell sick, so we change to a sinful plan. whahaha.... We have fried seafood platter (we ordered grill but was served the wrong one). It could have been better if it's grilled.

3) Pasir Panjang Food Centre
Satay! Stingray! Carrot Cake! Sambal Sotong!!! All these for dinner cum supper after rock climbing sure is sinful! Friday, Roy, Steph Liting and I went to conquer the walls! Winner: Roy. He's long so he managed to climb more walls than the rest! whahahaa.... A pity: no prize for that.

p.s: Roy, thanks for the yummy durian puffs you bought!

4) Botak Jones (Depot)
Here, I satisfied my craving of Beef Beef and more Beef!!! The waiting for food to be served is not that long, as compared to the one at Clementi branch. But the food here is not as good as the one in Clementi. Heh...

Summary for the week

Some updates about what interesting things I have done this week:

1) Pestered my malay colleague to bring some sugi cookies for me. hahaha.... I love this! Every CNY, I can "swallow" up the whole tin all by myself!

2) Watched 爸爸閉翳 - Father and Son (25 episodes) in 2 days - can anyone do this?

3) Went to the gym with Steph - After months of not exercising, i jogged non-stop on the threadmill for 20 minutes, managed to burn at least calories from 3 donuts. Some achievement yeah? hehe...

4) TGIF - Sang ktv again! It's almost a weekly activity. And I tell you, my friends, it's not cheap to do this on weekends u know! Hah... I went for my session with Steph and BC, quite enjoyable. Afterwhich Steph and I went to Holland V to meetup with Peiting and Jialin for some dessert... home at 2.30am

5) Feasting - Went dim sum session to celebrate Jiabi's Birthday! We ordered alot and of course, ATE ALOT! whahaha... session was enjoyable even if there were no cakes, no candles and no sabo-ing.

6) Shopping therapy - once again, our dear Miss Ruan is spending like nobody's business again! Total spending for the week came up to more than $200 just on clothings and shoes....she's really got to get someone to control her pockets!

Recommended Artiste of the week - Akina Nakamori. Go surf Wikipedia or youtube if you want to know more about her: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akina_Nakamori
